Eco-Friendly Bio-Solv Cleaning Solvent
Now Available at West Marine, Port Supply

EPA approved, biodegradable, effectively replaces Acetone, Xylene, Thinners

CINNAMINSON, NEW JERSEY (USA) – Bio-Solv from MAS Products, now available at retailer West Marine and wholesaler Port Supply, is an environmentally-friendly solvent that can be used in place of Acetone, Xylene thinners and other petroleum-based solvents. It effectively cleans or prepares surfaces to be painted or epoxied, removes adhesives and cleans tools. 

100% bio-degradable Bio-Solv contains no water and is 100% reactive, unlike other products which may consist of up to 40% water. It is safe to use, non-carcinogenic, produces no hazardous air pollutants and has no environmentally hazardous ingredients or global warming compounds. It leaves no film residue when dried, has a low evaporation rate, is reusable and recyclable and biologically inert in water in the event of an overboard spill.

Bio-Solv was developed in conjunction with the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Design for the Environment (DfE) program. The DfE logo (shown at left) helps consumers to quickly identify and choose products that can help protect the environment and are safer.
